VASTLY IMPORTANT PARENTS
meeting will be this Sunday night (13 January) starting at 5:30 PM.  While the parents are meeting to go over scheduling/questions/answers for "Made for Praise" and "Made for Joy," the children will be watching the Veggie Tale movie about Pirates.  If you have any questions about this meeting PLEASE contact Carlene or Susan.

HITTING THE GROUND RUUUUNNNNNNINNNNGGGG!!!!!!!
13 January has the parents meeting for the children's programming and then, come
20 January......RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN!!!  The children's program for the winter session begins!!!  This is going to be one of the most fun, most exciting, most thrilling children programming!!!  Get the kids ready!!!  Invite a neighborhood child!!!  Let's GO, GO, GO, GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

this article (or at least just as soon as you are through reading this article) please pause a moment and go on and fill out your Men's Bible Class scholarship application!!!  Here is the info again from Louis Stevens, president of The Men's Bible Class:
The Men's Bible Class is now accepting Scholarship Applications for the 2008-2009 school year. The completed applications must be received by the Men's' Bible Class by Sunday, March 30th, 2008.  The application forms may be obtained from the church office or from the church website.  Thanks, Louis Stevens.



DISCOVERY WEEKEND PLANNING SESSION
announced!!!  Discovery Planning Meeting on 13 January at 4 PM in the Jr. High Sunday School classroom. Discovery is a weekend retreat for Jr. High Youth led by Adults & Sr. High youth. 
Volunteers coordinators  are needed for leading games, coordinate sleeping arrangements, overnight hosts, meals, snack team, tech team, prayer team, set up, clean up, midnight watch, Saturday night prayer service, registration, supplies. Each of these areas then needs volunteers to carry out the plans.  This takes involvement by the ENTIRE CHURCH.  If you can't be there on Sunday but would like to help please sign up on the volunteer sheets on the youth bulletin board.  Start covering this in prayer now.  Thanks, Patricia.


QUEST CHALLENGE
is back by popular demand with the Senior High youth group and it starts THIS SUNDAY following 11 AM worship!!! Here is Patricia:  Quest for Sr High begins Sunday Jan 13th @ Noon, right after the 11am worship service with lunch and then a scavenger hunt.  Should return to the church by 3:30.

KICK OFF FOR YOUTH GROUP
is happening THIS COMING SUNDAY NIGHT!!!!!
UMYF kicks off this Sunday for ALL Youth Jr. High and Sr. High with lunch right after the 11AM worship service.  We will be traveling to a local mall for a scavenger hunt and return to the church at 3:30.
