8:30 and 11 AM WORSHIPPERS........
I have got to give out some more props.....This Sunday at the 8:30 anthem slot and at the 11 AM worship hour's Offertory slot, there is going to be a selection that is going to stop you in your tracks.  The version of "Make Me a Channel of Your Peace," that is going to be rendered at these two services is one of the prettiest arrangements of this piece of music.  This arrangement is not widely performed and this week, especially at 11 AM Offertory, a variation with a "different" instrument is going to be offered.  Yet again, another reason to come, if for no other...........

CHURCH BAY:
WHAT IS SOMETHING TO DO THIS WEEKEND????

Attention all theater fans!  Plan to attend a performance of "The Miracle Worker" at the Neuse Little Theatre in Smithfield.  Director D. Anthony Pender has put together a cast that delivered an absolutely incredible dress rehearsal performance last night!  You'll laugh and you'll be thrilled to tears by the final scene.  The little 10-year girl who is portraying Helen Keller gives the most outstanding performance you'll ever see.  You owe it to yourself to make the trip down to Smithfield for this one!

Performances this weekend are tonight and tomorrow night at 8:00 PM (doors open at 7:30) and 3:00 PM Sunday afternoon.  The show will also run on Friday and Saturday evenings the next weekend.  Tickets can be reserved online (just Google up Neuse Little Theater) or by phone.  They're also available at the ticket office, but I wouldn't advise waiting until you get there to try and get tickets, as it will likely be a sell-out both nights.  Thanks, Edna Reynolds.
