TIME CHANGES THIS WEEKEND!!!!

Fall back!!!  Fall back!!!   Fall Back!!!!!  Saturday night...turn your clocks back ONE HOUR!!!!  Fall back!!!!  Fall back!!!!!   Can you hear me now?????

CRAFT FAIR THIS WEEKEND!!!!

Well.......here it is!!!  Tomorrow morning starts a culmination of an event that it's planning started a year ago!!!  Patricia, Patty Moore and Betty Jo Creed have been fast and furious trying to ensure that they bring you the best and most unique crafters in our area!!!!  No other place, save the "Village of Yesteryear," at the State Fair, will have the variety that Garner church will offer starting tomorrow morning at 9 AM!!!  There will be some great home cooked food at this event as well!!  So don't worry about anything, we got food, shopping, a place to sit and rest your tired dogs and a rest room......what more do you NEED?????????  Come and see and better yet INVITE SOMEONE!!!!!!

FLU SHOTS TOMORROW AT THE CHURCH!!!!

Flu shots will be administered at the church tomorrow from 9 AM till 12 Noon in the Fellowship classroom.  Come get'cha flu shot, shop, eat, mingle, converse ALL at one stop!!!!  Now, I am telling you, you just don't get service like this just every where!!!!!

CEASE FOR NOW!!!!

The giving to the burned out family over at Creech Road School has become such a proposition that the "retrieval" team for this family is asking for a cessation of donations at this time.  The team is now sifting through ALL the items they have received and will see "what we have and what we have left that we need." THEN, once this assessment has been made, the list will be put out again to get these items.  Cheryl Rand has promised me that as soon as she gets this said list she will get me a copy and then in turn I will get it out to all of you.  THANK YOU for over loading a donation center to the point that they are hollering "STOP!!!!"

FOOD OF THE MONTH:   Canned meat

YOUTH AND YOUR PARENTS!!!

Don't forget about this one!!!!!!  Basketball practice begins NEXT week.  All middle school youth, male & female will have a meeting/practice on Monday November 3rd 5-6:30.  Coach Bryan Lewis will have all the necessary forms needed for you to participate.  It would be helpful for a parent to also attend.  Senior High youth, male & female will begin practice on Thursday Nov. 6th at 7 PM.  Coaches Paul Schmidt and Greg Byars will be heading up the senior high teams.  It is important that you are at these first practices to get all necessary paperwork done, receive practice schedules and get signed up on the team rooster.  If you cannot make the practice please contact Bryan Lewis  blewis2033@nc.rr.com     Paul Schmidt  paulscw@yahoo.com   or Patricia patriciasuttle@gmail.com this week.  Thanks, Patricia.

FOOD OF THE MONTH:  Canned Meat

YUTS....ENJOY GOING ON MISSION TRIPS????

Enjoy helping others in the name and workmanship of Jesus Christ??  Then this weekend is one of the largest fundraiser events for YOUTH missions!!!!  Here's

Patricia with more:    Workers Needed for Craft Fair this Saturday (tomorrow!!) Nov. 1st.  Help is need on Saturday from 9-3 working in the concession stand. If you have not already signed up to work contact Tonya Clark  clark001@bellsouth.net  to get on the list.  This is one of our big fundraiser activities for missions and all of your help is needed.  Any other church member wishing to volunteer please feel free to contact Tonya also.  Your help is always welcome!  Thanks, Patricia.

WILL YOU REMEMBER TO CHANGE

your clock BACK on Saturday night????

CURRENT NEEDS AT THE CHURCH:

**Few more cell phones for military personnel over seas.

**Size "0" of "1's" in BLUE JEANS for FEMALE HOPE ministry folks.

**Hoodies/Blankets (can be "gently used," does not have to be new!!!) for homeless ministry.

**Dr. Pepper, Coke, Diet Coke, Diet Mt. Dew, (just PLAIN old drinks in 12 ounce cans).  DO NOT need these drinks with cherries, lemons, limes or the like.

OK, LET ME DO THE HARNETT COUNTY

breakdown for you on this one.........The HOPE ministry participants are sleeping IN THE BRIERS!!!  They MIGHT have a tent.......Clothing items that would best suit their environment need to be on the rugged side.  Dainty cashmere sweaters with dancing poodles and tasseled loafers are really nice.......but they are sleeping IN THE BRIERS!!  When contemplating a donation to the HOPE ministry clothes closet, especially this time of year, ask yourself some questions: "Is it warm?"  "Is it rugged and could withstand a couple nights laying IN THE BRIERS under the stars??"  "Would you wear it/take it on a camping trip if you were going camping yourself??"  That would pretty much answer a bunch of questions fast as it pertains to "will this best benefit the HOPE ministry??"  With that said, ALL donations are greatly appreciated and if it is not used by HOPE ministries it is NEVER discarded but passed onto another ministry.  Thank you for your donations to HOPE ministries.

FOOD OF THE MONTH:  Canned meats

WITH MY MOST HUMBLE THANKS…….

IT'S ALL FULLED UP……..

Now comes the collecting part…..There are NO more slots for Camp Don Lee this year......But, if you were one of the lucky ones.....here's info you will need:  Registration money of $60 for Camp Don Lee is now due.  Please try to have this money in by this Sunday.  We now have 54 spaces filled for Camp Don Lee.  It is going to be an amazing weekend, so keep it covered in prayer.  Patricia

YOUTH STUFF-A-BEAR!!!!

All youth will meet on Sunday afternoon Nov 2nd from 3-5 PM for a service project.  We will be stuffing bears that will be given to UNC Children's Hospital patients.  All bears will be given a heart and a signed birth certificate.  We will end with an ice cream social so bring your favorite topping, we have the ice cream and the drinks.  Come out and make a difference in the life of a child.  Patricia.

YOUTH AND A BASKETBALL!!!
