Garner UMC's Fall Festival

We Praise God every year for this wonderful night of fun and fellowship with our church family, friends, and the Garner community and hope you can join us!!!   

Games from 5:00-6:30: We’ll start off the evening with Carnival Games including a bungee run and a moon bounce with slide.    During that time the LOST Sunday School Class will be hosting our 3rd annual chili cook-off so get those taste buds ready!

Hot Dog Dinner served from 6:00-6:30: Games will continue but we will also add a costume parade, a decorate your own cupcake station, and we’ll announce the chili cook-off winners!!

Trunk-R-Treating begins at 6:30:  Kids can wear a costume or wear what makes them comfortable and can trunk-r-treat and check out our creative members vehicles in our parking area.    

Starting next week there will information on the website and a sign up station next to the Children’s Church table with ways church members can help!  For the carnival games, we will need youth and adults to help. We are going to need cupcakes, hostess type treats, bags of candy or prizes, chili cookers, and more cars decorated for trunk-r-treating. This year there will be a special award for the best decorated vehicle for trunk or treating too!  To sign up to attend and to volunteer to help please CLICK HERE.

There is no cost for the festival but you can BRING YOUR CHANGE AND CHANGE A LIFE! Save your quarters, dime, nickels, and even pennies to play a game where the donation goes to UNICEF!!

Silent Auction: An Opportunity to Multiply your Talents
We have had several request from members to be given an opportunity to share a craft, skill, or service in order to multiply their talents for the Lord.   In response to this we will be holding a silent auction at the fall festival.   If you have one item or service that you would like to be an entry in the silent auction, please sign up at the TIKI Booth or online before Oct.  26th.  

Kids Table Too
Kids need an opportunity to multiply their talents too, so we will have a section set up for the kids where they can share their skills too.   We will have a set price of $1.00 for the kids craft/ item so please package accordingly.   Also please let Kat know by Oct. 26th if your child will need some table space for this event.   Since it is a set donation the kids do not need to be at the table so they can enjoy the fall festival.
