Prayer Newsletter
A prayer newsletter, Lean On Me, is published semi-monthly to make members aware of prayer concerns or praises. The newsletters are distributed with bulletins at worship services and are available from the church office.  To submit information for the newsletter, contact Edna Reynolds by email, ebr864@bellsouth.net or by calling 772-5776.  Information can also be submitted to the church office.

Intercessory Prayer Group
Prayer is a powerful communication source the Lord has given to His children. We are told to “pray without ceasing.” “…Be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.” (Ephesians 6:18)

The GUMC Intercessory Prayer Group (IPG) meets twice monthly.

The group meets to update a master prayer list and pray together.

This group consists of nine ladies who have made a commitment to pray daily for the requests presented to the group. Members of GUMC or anyone may contact Libby Frederick by e-mail (Libby_Frederick@ncsu.edu) or Helen Cochrane (helennc@bellsouth.net) to request prayer. Individuals can also call the GUMC office 722-2042, and the message will be sent to Libby or Helen so the IPG can be asked to pray for urgent needs.

Our prayer is that everything we do will be to the glory of the Lord.
