Sunday
School Classes Meet at 9:45 AM: Please Stop by the office for
the location of the class room of your choice.
Each
Adult Sunday School Class at Garner United Methodist provides
a supportive place in which people can study, fellowship, worship
and serve. Regardless of the class description all adults are
welcome in any class. Come, join in!
The
Bible Class - Primarily consists of married couples and
singles with young and teenaged children. Meet to study and
discuss a variety of biblical and social topics. Involved
in various church activities.
Johnson-Crutchfield
Sunday School Class - Singles and couples 40 and up who
utilize the International Lesson Series for studies. Do not
worry about keeping up. We are a group of regulars who attend
on an irregular basis so the group is never the same.
James
Auman Class - Primarily consists of couples in their
50's and 60's. Studies a variety of biblically-based topics.
Nannie
Bryan Class- Primarily consist of mature women who meet
for Bible study and Christian fellowship using the International
Lesson Series. They participate in numerous community, inter-social,
and church activities including both local and outreach ministries.
Nell
Henderson Class - Primarily senior adult women using
the International Lesson Series. They participate in numerous
community, inter-social and church activities.
Adult
Fellowship Class- Consists of adults 50 and up. Studies
a variety of biblically-based material. They participate
in numerous community, inter-social and church activities
including In this World Vision programs and Garner Area Ministries.
ACTS
Class - Singles and couples ranging from 20's to 50's.
Discussion class that studies biblically-based materials,
members are encouraged to share their insight and experience
in a facilitator lead discussion.
Men’s
Bible Class - Adult men’s class that study a variety
of biblically-based topics using the International Lesson
Series. They have several service projects including scholarship
funds for college students and support for scouting.
The
SPARES Sunday School Class
SPARES Sunday School is an acronym for Spiritual, People
Adoring the Righteous, Everlasting, Savior. This class is
made up of a small group of people of all ages. This class
is currently studying the book, “ If Experience is Such
a Good Teacher, Why do I keep Repeating the Course?” The class is focused
on finding out how the Sunday School lesson each week affects their everyday
lives. We have great, fruitful discussions and emphasize the importance of
prayer. Even though this Sunday School class is the most recently formed in
our church, this class is fast becoming a cohesive entity within our church.

Adult Activities
Group
M & M’s
Fellowship – They meet on the fourth Tuesday of
each month for food, fellowship, and program. They occasionally
take field trips. Anyone is invited to come and be a part
of this fellowship.
