Journey of Grace


The Journey of Grace (JOG) contemporary service is an alternative worship service for people who pre fer an informal, contemporary worship environment. Meeting in the Christian Life Center at 9:45 am every Sunday, Journey of Grace encourages casual dress and uses multi-media, reflection and prayer stations, and the latest music to uplift God’s praise and worship.  Although some of the worship elements are distinctively new, the picture still portrays our savior Jesus Christ and His gospel.

Music is a big part of worship at Garner Methodist. Our own Journey of Grace Worship Band leads worship every Sunday, featuring some of the best of modern praise music. Led by Chris Kelly, our Praise Worship leader along with guitar, bass, and percussion, the praise band inspires us with their rockin' and soulful music. Thanks to our light, sound and tech crew, all song lyrics and scripture are projected on screens so the congregation can join in !

Before the service, please come join us at Holy Java cafe to enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee.
