Educational Assistance

Garner United Methodist Church supports many educational opportunities for our church members and our community.

English as a Second Language
Free English classes are offered for non-native speakers in our classrooms
during the week every Monday - Thursday (9:30am - 12:30pm). This is
available through Wake Technical Community College.  Child care is provided
for children ages 3 years to 5 years for a nominal fee, but child care space is limited.

Spring 2012 Registration:
New student registration will be held at 9:30 a.m. on the following dates:
Monday, January 9th
Monday, February 13th

Registration is at 9:30 a.m.  You must arrive on time.  If classes are full, registrations may be canceled.

If the weather is bad, please watch or listen to the news. 
Our Weather Policy:  If Wake County Public Schools are on a 1-hour delay, ESL classes will begin at 10:30.  If Wake County Public Schools are on a 2-hour delay or if Wake County Public Schools are closed, we will not have ESL classes.
