Prayer Requests

Through prayer, the Holy Spirit deepens our personal commitment to Christ, His Word, and His Church. As we become deeply committed Christians, we discover an awakening and growing awareness that prayer is the foundation of our lives and ministries.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry – Through the Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Garner UMC offers prayer in response to prayer requests received. Written Prayer request cards are located in the sanctuary pews. They can be placed in the offering plate or handed to the pastor or an usher after the worship service.

We receive prayer requests each week.  We pray for requests in weekend worship services, through prayer card/note writers, and the pastor’s individual prayer time. To phone in a prayer request, call our one of our Pastors at 772.2042.
