Serve: Student Ministry

Below is a current listing of opportunities to serve in our Student Ministry. The items that are bold represent an immediate need that we have.

Please note that all persons working in our Children's ministry area will be subject to a background check and must adhere to Safe Sanctuaries policy. A representative from this ministry will contact you shortly.

Middle School Sunday School Teachers - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  Teach on Sunday Mornings from 9:30 – 10:15 on a quarterly rotation.

Qualification: love youth, teaching, speaking and effective communicator for classroom setting and discussion.

Senior High Sunday School Teachers - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  Teach on Sunday Mornings from 9:30 – 10:15 on a quarterly rotation.

Qualification: love youth,  teaching, speaking and effective communicator for classroom setting and discussion.

Student Winter Ski Retreat Adult Servants - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description: Adults willing to spend the weekend skiing with the youth and/or stay at the house to spend time with the youth.

Qualifications: love youth, have a solid faith foundation

Meal Coordinator - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  Coordinate meals 4 times a year as fundraiser by contacting parents to cook

Qualifications:  Great organizer, able to work as a team

Sunday Night Meal Coordinator - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  Organize parents to prepare snack suppers on Sunday evenings Sept – May.

Qualification: Great organizer

Student Ministry Tech Team - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  Students and adults interested in multimedia, sound & lights

Qualifications:  love students, some knowledge of computers, video production, sound & lights

Basketball Coach - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description: Coach Jr. High and Sr. High Basketball teams

Qualifications:  love working with students knowledge of basketball, able to build relationship with students

Sunday Night Counselors - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  meet with student on Sunday nights for discipling and fun activities.

Qualifications:  solid faith foundation, love for students

Wednesday Night Bible Study Leaders - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  meet on Wednesday nights and help to facilitate bible study and lead small groups

Qualifications:  ability to teach and lead discussions in small groups, love students

Creative Arts Team - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  Students and Adults with an interest in creative arts such as stage & script, dance & music to produce skits and full length productions.

Qualifications:  desire to minister through acting, dancing & singing

Discovery Weekend Servants - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description; Sr. High students and Adults to support Discovery weekend through various tasks ranging from leading a small group to working behind the scenes cooking, setting up, clean up and overnight hosts.

Qualifications:  willingness to serve

Bus Driver - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  drive bus for student for day trips and weekend events

---

Youth Praise Band - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  Students who have a desire to play an instrument or sing in the youth praise band that practices weekly and leads worship on 5th Sundays, Discovery Weekend, Youth Sunday and other services or special programs.  Auditions are required.

Qualifications:  ability to sing or play an instrument and a desire to lead worship

Mission Team Servant leader - Domestic - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  adults 23 years and older that are willing to work on a team with one other adult and 5-7 youth for a week during the summer on a mission work team.

Qualifications:  love being with student.  Some general construction knowledge is helpful but not required.

Mission Team Servant Leader - Foreign - Make a Commitment to Serve

• Description:  adults 23 years and older that are willing to work on a team with other adults & youth for a week to ten day during the summer on a mission trip out of the USA.  Will require a passport and some shot requirements depending on the country

Qualifications:  love being with students and love to travel.
